01.07.08 Publication The results of our research have been published under the title "Konfliktbeilegung durch Europäisierung? Zypernfrage, Ägäis-Konflikt und griechisch-mazedonischer Namensstreit" by Nomos-Verlag.
27.10.07 Scientific stays abroad The Cyprus question will also be topic of a detailed case study of the research project. Main emphasis will be put on the Annan plan, its importance for the Europeanization of the conflict and which conclusions can be drawn from its failure. 23.04.07 Excerpts online During an interview with Costas Simitis in September 2006 the former Greek Prime Minister and PASOK-leader offered us to translate and to publish some parts of his book "Politiki gia mia dimiourgiki Ellada 1996-2004" in German. These excerpts are now available under the title "Politik für ein konstruktives Griechenland 1996-2004" as a download in the rubric "Publications". We thank the author for his kind permission.

05.03.07 Foreign minister in Duisburg Antonio Milososki visited his former place of activity on the occasion of the annual general meeting of the Südosteuropa-Gesellschaft and held a speech of honor with the subject: "The actual role of Macedonia in South Eastern Europe and it's relations with EU".

26.08.06 Antonio Milososki is foreign minister The Macedonian Parliament late Saturday elected the new government of prime minister Nikola Gruevski with 68 of 120 votes.

17.12.05 Candidate status for Macedonia Macedonia will be the third ex-Yugoslav republic to gain candidate status, so the decision of the last Council of the British EU Presidency. No date has been fixed for the start of entry talks.
09.11.05 Enlargement package 2005 The Commission presents its latest progress report on Turkey. In its opinion on the application from Macedonia for EU membership, the Commission recommends the Council granting candidate status to the country.
03.10.05 Accession negotiations with Turkey After a lengthy debate the EU has opened negotiations for membership with Turkey. Membership talks are also offered to Croatia.
